Amazing South India

The southern part of India, the peninsular India offers amazing locales. Let me cover in this post places that you can travel to from Bangalore. Bangalore (Bangaluru) is the capital of Karnataka and is 3000 ft asl and close to the western ghats thus offering enormous choice of places to ride to and aboveall the weather 9 months of the year is brilliant for riders.

Places close to Bangalore and perfect weekend getaways -

Mysore , Coorg , Nandi hills, Bheemeshwari, BR hills, Kemmangundi, Ooty and many more.

And for those who wish to take a longer break they could ride out from Bangalore to Goa or Bangalore to Kerala.

I shall cover in my next post Bangalore to Goa.

Unexplored India

India is an amazing and a misterious country, probably one of the least explored. India is the seventh largest nation in size and offers various options for travellers like beaches, forest, mountains, desert. India also can boast of one of the largest rail network and road networks criss crossing the length and breadth of the nation, it even connects villages as high as 18000+ ft above sea level (the highest motorable road in the world). Despite such extensive connectivity and affordable fares, it does not see enough tourist and most travellers get stuck to the popular destinations and never discover the real India.
